Baby Audio Comeback Kid

Hello, Hello! It is Tuesday, 23rd June 2020 and on this week's Tobisonics Tuesday, we're going to be putting the Baby Audio Comeback Kid through its paces by using it in an actual production.

We'll be using the Baby Audio Comeback Kid to add rhythm to a simple bassline. We'll also be using the mono option and the hi/low pass filters & transient shaper options to tidy up the bass echo in the mix.

We'll use the Baby Audio Comeback Kid to add depth and movement to a set of chords with the Shaper Module and the Flavor Module.

We'll then switch off the delay function on the Comeback Kid so we can use it as a flavor/color box to add tone and texture to some mellow keys with the Richer FX. We'll also use the lo/hi-pass filters and attack/sustain to shape the keys and clear out space for the bass.

Finally, we'll create a shifting vocal FX by automating the Ducker and Wet Output Level. And by using the Swirl FX to add a flanger-style FX to the vocal loop. I'll round-up by sharing my final thoughts on the Baby Audio Comeback Kid.

You can demo the Comeback Kid for yourself via the Baby Audio Website.

My debut solo production "All These Things" is not now! It'd be disco-biscuits if you could take a moment to have a listen 😀
